It's like an arrow pointing the way with the ocean chalcedony's characteristic spot placed at the very tip of the trilliant. Thank you nature. I always enjoy faceting the translucent chalcedonies, as it gives them that je ne sais quoi glow that I love about chalcedony. Even without a light shining directly on it, it reflects light through it so that you can almost see into it, but not quite. As soon as you shine a light into its depths, you see the light throughout.
